After graduating from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Go completed Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Hawaii Internal Medicine Residency Program in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he also served as a chief resident. Following residency, he went on to pursue his Infectious Diseases Fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Minnesota, where he was also a co-chief fellow during his third year.

During fellowship training, he obtained the academic rank of Assistant Professor of Medicine and was the recipient of the Joseph E. Geraci Award in recognition of his outstanding clinical performance. Within the field of Infectious Diseases, Dr. Go has a special interest in cardiovascular infections, antimicrobial stewardship, and gram-positive bloodstream infections, particularly Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife and daughter, and is an avid tennis and basketball fan.
